On Thursday, tech blogger @AdakFengLangJuXu said on a Chinese X-like platform that Huawei might not release the self-developed HarmonyOS NEXT system at the end of the month, despite the Chinese tech giant announcing the autumn product launch event to be held on Sept. 24. However, last week at the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services, Chen Xinxin, a manager of Huawei’s HarmonyOS department, revealed the launch of the HarmonyOS NEXT system at the end of this September. At this autumn launch event, Huawei will introduce a series of smartwatches equipped with the new fitness system TruSense for the first time, including the WATCH GT 5, WATCH D2, and WATCH Ultimate.
