No, first son Eric Trump didn't come out as a part of the LGBTQ community today in a Fox News interview, despite what some on the internet might have you believe. He's just not very good at talking.
A clip of President Trump's middle son being interviewed went viral on Tuesday, during which he said: "The LGBT community, they are incredible... I'm part of that community, and we love the man."
Without some crucial context — or honestly, not carefully sifting through Trump's jumbled words — it would perhaps seem like Trump came out.

When Trump made the comments, the crew at Fox were discussing a recent piece in the New York Timesopinion section about a "secret" Trump voter, identified only as Chris. Chris apparently described themselves as a 50-something lesbian in New York City who is voting for Trump but doesn't tell anyone that fact.
Fox News, predictably, jumped all over this story, and Eric Trump was more than happy to claim that many in the LGBTQ community were actually Trump voters. It was his attempt to express this idea that led to the not-coming-out-but-sounding-like-coming-out confusion. Trump seems to have tried to quote an imagined or hypothetical LGBTQ person but instead made it sound like he was coming out. Here's what he said in full.
"That person is there, I see it every day," he said on Fox. "The LGBT community, they are incredible and you should see how they come out in full force for my father every single day: 'I'm part of that community and we love the man, and thank you for protecting our neighborhoods and protecting our cities.'"

Still, lots folks were confused by Trump's comments.

So, there you go. If you see somewhere that Eric Trump came out, no he almost certainly did not. He just didn't express an idea clearly.
